Frequently asked questions

Individual sessions are charged at £70 for 50 minutes. Couples' sessions are charged at £100 for 60 minutes. I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation and a reduced-rate initial session to 'try before you buy.'

Please see the Sessions & Fees page for more information.

I have specialist training and experience in supporting adult individuals and couples struggling with fertility issues, perinatal issues, relationship issues and life transitions. I am also able to work with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief & loss.

Do get in touch for a free telephone conversation. If I don't feel able to help you myself, I will try to refer you to another counsellor. Please see the Services page for more information.

The frequency of counselling sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. I usually recommend weekly sessions at the beginning, as this helps to build consistency and momentum. However, I understand that this may not always be possible due to financial or availability constraints, so I am also happy to offer fortnightly sessions where needed.

For some people, short-term counselling is enough to bring about meaningful change, while others benefit from longer-term work. We will agree an initial plan during our first session, and then regularly review our progress to make sure the goals we set remain helpful and relevant.

Please see the Sessions & Fees page for more information.
